We cycled to a small village just out of Lijiang, it was quite hard going since my bike only had three working gears. Plus, it was very sunny and I managed to get sunstroke that night - combined with food poisoning - not a great combination. Anyway, this picture is of Jade Dragon Snow mountain, that lurks behind the village (Baisha). Baisha is where Dr. Ho lives, who we met. If any of you have seen Michael Palin's Himalaya, you will have seen the good and now very old Dr. on the tele. It was like meeting Madonna, I can tell you. Tom, someone to aspire to I think (just give it fifty years and grow a white beard and you'll be the spitting image)!
